“I broke down outside of Yuba City 5 days before Christmas driving to Colorado. Steve and his staff were amazingly helpful and did everything in their power to get my vehicle repaired as quickly as possible. It was a large job and they stayed into the night for a couple of days to help me get home for the holidays. Steve was honest, fair and the work was done very well.

“Master Mechanic: Steven and his crew are amazing. I own 7 or 8 cars including a couple of pickups and a Rolls Royce. I've been so impressed how thorough and quick they always get the job done. I've never seen a shop that stays open past 5 pm, yet Steven stays there until he completes the job, sometimes until 10 or 11 pm and on weekends. His willingness to serve his customers is remarkable as is his competence with so many different makes. He also does not overcharge for his services. Thank you Thank you!”

I always feel comfortable taking my car into The Master Mechanic knowing I am not being overcharged. The staff are extremely friendly and polite! You can tell they lookout for your best interest which is why I will continue taking my car into The Master Mechanic for all of its future maintenance.”

“I’ve had a heater problem with my car for almost two years.

The problem was it blew cold air.

With a new born on the way my wife told me I needed to have a heater or her and the baby wouldn’t be riding with me.

I didn’t know what to expect. I’m leery of new mechanics and didn’t want to be taken for a ride.

Though this was a difficult job to properly diagnose The Master Mechanic fixed it and did so without asking for my first born.

I totally recommend them and will be bringing all my business to them for now on.”

“I purchased a BMW through a private seller and made the "oh so common" mistake of not having the vehicle looked at prior to purchase. I took the car to a number of mechanics in search of a solution to the check engine light that was on when I made the purchase. After having seen a number of mechanics, I took the vehicle to Master Mechanic, I was amazed at how drastically my quote was reduced due to the honesty of the techs working there. They explained everything in detail and didn't inflate my quote for self-gain. I will most definitely be working with them again for any future needs I may have. I highly recommend The Master Mechanic of Yuba City!”

“First let me start off and congratulate Greg on his retirement you will be missed for sure. I have to say I panicked at first when I called to schedule an appointment for my car. Because it literally took years to find The Master Mechanic. I spoke with the new owner Steve he assured me he could handle any repairs on my BMW and he did with the same exceptional workmanship and customer service that I have always received from this shop. “Amazing service. Office staff is very friendly, knows a lot about cars, and work hard to accommodate my schedule.The mechanics are so wonderful and very thorough. They know a lot about foreign cars which is a must when working on my vehicle. They go above and beyond to take care of my car. The office and where they work on the cars is very clean and well kept. I have been going to them for a couple years, having went elsewhere a couple of times always regretting it and going to Master Mechanic to fix what another mechanic didn't or messed up on. Something so simple as an oil change wasn't done right by another company and they ended up ruining an expensive car part and Master Mechanic caught it, fixed it and really made sure everything else was done right. If you have a foreign car or whatever car you drive I highly recommend Master Mechanic”

“First things first, I'm a snob. A snob about wine, pizza and no doubt cars. Last year our Mini just quit on me and I was over an hour from a dealership. My local options were few but I decided to gamble on The Master Mechanic, and I'm really glad I did. They were diligent in their diagnostic and communication and at no point did I feel like it was amateur hour or that I was being ripped-off. Greg, Michael and Megan are great people to do business with and it's for that reason I've been back now a few times for various things each time leaving satisfied. If you have a German or English baby that needs attention, look no further.”
